These are the formalities you must fulfill before travelling abroad for any travel initiated after July 10th 2025.

PRIOR TO YOUR TRIP

1) Prior to making travel arrangements, you need the authorisation of the PhD office (see Richiesta autorizzazione soggiorno fuori sede (estero e Italia) / Request for authorization of period in external structure at https://www.unisi.it/didattica/corsi-post-laurea/dottorati-di-ricerca/modulistica-e-certificati).

2) This needs to be sent to the "ufficio dottorato"...
